Health Gathering scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2020, postponed

Liard First Nation (LFN) Council has been monitoring updates in regards to COVID-19 daily.
Yukon Government announced several new restrictions today which include a ban on gatherings of more than 50 people. In keeping with the Yukon guidelines, the LFN Health Gathering will be postponed until further notice.
The Council appreciates the time and efforts made in preparation for this gathering and will inform participating services of future opportunities when made available.
As of March 16, there are no confirmed cases of the COVID-19 in the Yukon. However, the situation could change quickly and we all have a role to play in keeping ourselves and our communities healthy and safe.
